The Yellow Wallpaper

by Charlotte Perkins Gilman

7pm Saturday 19th December
performed by Katy Mulhern

Part of WARNINGS TO THE CURIOUS: An online Christmas ghost story festival.

THIS EVENT HAS TAKEN PLACE

Katy Mulhern reads the unsettling, illuminating story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, exploring the creeping terror that can hide in the domestic and supposedly “safe” spaces for women.

A tale of female oppression that skewers regressive attitudes to mental health, The Yellow Wallpaper remains as urgent now as when it was first published in 1892.

The performance will take place on Zoom. You will receive a link to the performance on the day of the event. One ticket will enable you to view the event on one screen/monitor. If you wish to view on multiple screens/monitors please purchase multiple tickets. All events are streamed live and must be watched at the scheduled time.
